In recent years, insolvency law has undergone a number of reforms.
First of all, Order No. 2014-326 of 12 March 2014, which was supplemented by Order No. 2014-1088 of 26 September 2014, had an impact on purely procedural aspects as well as implications for those involved in insolvency proceedings.
Then, the “Macron” law no. 2015-990 of 6 August 2015 amended certain provisions relating to the jurisdiction of commercial courts and the social aspects of collective proceedings.
Finally, Act No. 2016-1547 of 18 November 2016 on the modernisation of justice in the 21st century amended certain provisions relating to the treatment of companies in difficulty.
